CHALLENGE
Patient comfort, especially in a treatment environment that can cause a patient anxiety, is paramount. The temperature in a wound care room controls the temperature inside the chambers that on average is 10-15 degrees warmer.
SOLUTION
Zone heating / cooling is given serious consideration. Making sure zone control for the area is slightly cooler than standard room temperature was a necessity.
RESULT
Patient environment that promotes comfort and healing. Reduces the anxiety that is associated with the process of wound care.
