Challenge
In an effort to revitalize an antiquated research space, Georgetown University Medical Center sought to renovate on-campus laboratory research space for the new Center for Neural Sciences.
Solution
Utilizing an open, interactive environment built using green/sustainable principles created a unique learning environment for faculty, postdoctoral fellows and students.
Results
The Center’s faculty is uniquely positioned to understand how acute and chronic neurological conditions and stress are related. Their new research environment encourages multidisciplinary collaboration and increases research productivity by sharing equipment and facilities more efficiently.
