Challenge
To keep pace with this growing part of the western suburbs of Philadelphia, the University of Pennsylvania Health System’s Chester County Hospital needed an expansion plan to properly provide comprehensive outpatient services to this community.
Solution
Teaming with Anchor Health Properties to develop the building, the University of Pennsylvania Health System and Chester County Hospital engaged Anchor and Array to develop and design the outpatient campus for tomorrow’s healthcare needs. The facility, opened on June 1, 2015, provides primary and specialty care, imaging, physical therapy and laboratory services. An Ambulatory Surgery complement will be added to the services in 2016.
Result
Situated on an idyllic setting, complete with wellness walking trail, the PennMedicine Jennersville Ambulatory Care Center attracts patients to the University of Pennsylvania Health System Chester County Hospital’s broad array of services by bringing convenient, quality healthcare to their neighborhood. The building is highly visible from an adjacent highway (Route 1), and easily accessible and convenient for patients to make multiple appointments in one visit.
