Challenge
In order to increase surgical procedure capacity and properly align PACU with Stage II recovery, the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York required a reconfiguration of their 4th floor.
Solution
After detailed assessment, Array reconfigured spaces to enable an efficient workflow, which included relocating some ancillary surgical support areas as well as locating family waiting and consultation space closer to the surgery department.
Result
Space was realized for efficient work flows to and from PACU positions and brought them into code compliance while achieving a positive impact on throughput.
