Conshohocken, PA – September 24th, 2025 — Array Architects is pleased to announce that Mary Jean Tims has joined the firm as Director of Quality Assurance. With more than 18 years of experience in healthcare architecture, Tims brings deep expertise in constructability, risk management, and technical excellence for complex medical facilities.
In this firmwide leadership role, Tims will advance Array’s longstanding commitment to healthcare design quality by guiding documentation standards, streamlining technical reviews, and mentoring project teams.

Tims’ career includes leadership roles with Environments for Health Architecture, HGA, Perkins Eastman, CannonDesign, and CO Architects. She has led projects across the country, from complex hospital decanting efforts and neuropsychiatric replacement facilities to ground-up ambulatory surgery centers and highly technical oncology operating suites. Her portfolio includes work with major healthcare systems such as New York-Presbyterian, NYC Health + Hospitals, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, UCLA, Rush University Medical Center, and Kaiser Permanente.
Recognized for her collaborative approach and expertise in navigating complex codes and regulatory requirements, Tims is valued by clients and partners for her ability to mitigate risks while maintaining project momentum. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Woodbury University and specialized training from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in medical facility development. She is an active member of NOMA, AMFP, ASHE, NAWIC, and PWC.
