With the successful growth of their healthcare service offering in the northern Kentucky region, St. Elizabeth Healthcare’s decision to move into neighboring Indiana is best accomplished by the development of an ambulatory care environment so as to improve access for the surrounding community to the high level of quality care offered by St. Elizabeth Physicians.
The System’s expansion into Indiana begins with an 75,000 SF Ambulatory Care Facility which will house imaging, physician offices, specialty clinics and after-hours Urgent Care Clinic. Specialties such as orthopedics, cardiology, nephrology and women’s services are included in the early planning by the St. Elizabeth Physician Group.
“St. Elizabeth Physicians is excited about this opportunity to enhance the services provided to our patients living and working in Southeastern Indiana and Southwestern Ohio,” according to Jacob Bast, physician group Chief Operating Officer. “The expanded services and additional access to primary care will further support our commitment to connected and coordinated care.”
