Challenge
Located near the New Jersey Shore, Community Medical Center was landlocked by two major highways which limited expansion opportunities. . Since parking was identified as a key patient satisfier, Array was asked to analyze parking expansion opportunities on the campus.
Solution
As part of an Emergency Department expansion, we recommended that a 240-car parking garage be included that featured a covered drop-off area.
Result
Site circulation and access was improved, and the patient satisfaction scores for ED visits improved dramatically.
